16th July 2009 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 15-22 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 19ºC Sea Temperature: 16ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: The wind picked up as I arrived home from work. So, with the sun shining and the weather station touching 23 knots I couldn't resist a cheeky windsurf session. Unfotunately it wasn't great as there wasn't quite enough wind for me. I should have taken my 6.7m sail to the beach really, not my 5.6m. I did get going in one direction but the lack of wind and the waves meant that I couldn't get upwind. So I sailed back to where I started from and went for a nice swim instead. |
